"I’m a true size 9 in everything and my feet do fit the length of these shoes. The problem is that the grooves/curves on the sole do not comfortably hold my feet making my toes kind of grip the front. You may not notice it at first but I have another pair of same style that are the same way so I knew what to look out for. Haven’t decided if I’ll order up a size, go with different knock off brand, or just pay the extra for Birkenstocks.

Just got these but they are incredibly soft, have two adjustable straps but do run a bit small. Normally I’m a 9.5-10 and I ended on a 10.5 in these. I tightened the straps and they seem to be great now. Haven’t worn them for long periods of time yet

Very comfortable, but the size is a little deceiving. I bought a 10 which fits me but I had to buckle the strap closest to my ankle to one more whole. If I hadn't done that they would fly off my feet. I actually ordered a 10 1/2 I got the 10 but the 10 and a half was too big. The size 10 just fit me. I would think that these would be good for people with wide feet. They have rubber on the bottom but right above the rubber is cork. I would never wear these if it was raining or if it had rain and there was wet ground. I think it would ruin these shoes. As you can tell from the picture my foot goes almost to the very back of the shoe and my toes don't go to the very front, thank goodness, because I don't like toes hanging over sandals. But because I tightened the one strap my foot won't go in any further. I have narrow to medium size feet. But overall these are good shoes and at a very good price compared to Birkenstocks.

I fell in love with the shoes when I first received them. They're super versatile with different clothing and accessories. However, after having the shoes for 6 months and wearing them less than probably 30 times, they're starting to fall apart. The leather upper is separating from the sides near the area of the shoe where it bends via the fit. Definitely not worth the the price for the wear I've gotten out of them.

I got these hoping they would replace a pair that I've had for years, but no joy. These are comfortable and true to size, and the adjustable straps mean that they'll work OK for different width feet. However, the footbed has no arch support. There isn't even a padded bump in the arch area that flattens out when you put weight on it, it's just completely flat. Since I actually need arch support and got these for that reason, they won't work for me. If all you are looking for is an expensive slide in this style, then you'll probably be ok with them.

These for true to size, and. Were pretty comfortable. Wore everyday for most of summer. The one thing that I didn’t like was the inside of the strap where the buckle was snapped onto, the inside metal covering of that snap or whatever you would call it was fairly cheap and became bent and loose . I was able to bend it back flat with some pliers . But overall great quality for the price

So today I just ordered what I believe to be my 8th or 9th pair of the McGuffey Plain Toe, so I feel immensely qualified to comment. First the negative. . . Clearly I like them a lot, aside from 3 issues in the past. 1) One pair was inexplicably cut tight in the outside toe area and my pinky toes suffered through a lengthy break-in period (I've always ordered 9. 5 M). I managed to survive. 2) On two occasions, the laces were so short that tying them securely was nearly impossible. This is exacerbated by the fact that the style of lace on this shoe seems to find its way loose too easily. The positive. . . It is a super attractive and comfortable shoe that I consider reasonably durable (and I'm pretty tough on shoes). Lastly, the look has a good range, in that it can handle both casual and more formal wear very well. Versatile is perhaps a good descriptor for the McGuffey. Strongly recommend. Good value.
