"I just received these today. For the price, I am happy with them. I am an 8.5 and the 8 - 8.5 fit perfectly. I appreciate the cushioned foot bed, but there is hardly any arch support. If you have had birks, and are used to the arch hugging right up into that inner arch cup of your foot, know that these do not have that. There is quite a gap between the footbed and my arch. Not sure how they will feel after wearing for several hours due to that, but they feel comfortable the little I have walked around in them in my home today.

I am normally a 9 medium but I wound up setting the buckle closest to the toes on its tightest setting and having to punch an extra hole in the one over the instep. Without these adjustments the shoes just fell off.

These shoes are so comfortable!! I have knee problems and have piegon feet which means they go inward and these shoes didn't hurt and have great support
