They looked really nice and they are comfortable but not good for longer walks. They do not hold up very well, had them about 5 months and the the soles are about worn through on the back heel. The laces are terrible as well I had to replace those after 3 months. I work in an office so its not like I am out landscaping in them. For the $130 price tag I expected them to hold up much better than this. I have other JM shoes that I loved so I though this was a brand I could trust. I would not buy these again even if they were half the price.

Fits just like it says. Super comfy with cusiony feel when walking. Mine actually got a little wet in the rain and they did NOT make my feet smell like some off brands do. Absolutely love them! Wear them all the time. Fit just like it says.

These are some of the most (if not the most) comfortable casual shoes that I own. I purchased them because of the style and look but after I put them on for the first time I was blown away by how comfortable they are. I have worn them about a dozen different times now and they still are as comfortable as the first and are not showing any signs of unexpected wear. I have not worn any other models of Johnston & Murphy shoes but after the experience I have had with these, I will be giving their other models a shot too.

So today I just ordered what I believe to be my 8th or 9th pair of the McGuffey Plain Toe, so I feel immensely qualified to comment. First the negative. . . Clearly I like them a lot, aside from 3 issues in the past. 1) One pair was inexplicably cut tight in the outside toe area and my pinky toes suffered through a lengthy break-in period (I've always ordered 9. 5 M). I managed to survive. 2) On two occasions, the laces were so short that tying them securely was nearly impossible. This is exacerbated by the fact that the style of lace on this shoe seems to find its way loose too easily. The positive. . . It is a super attractive and comfortable shoe that I consider reasonably durable (and I'm pretty tough on shoes). Lastly, the look has a good range, in that it can handle both casual and more formal wear very well. Versatile is perhaps a good descriptor for the McGuffey. Strongly recommend. Good value.

These were a gift for our DIL. When she opened them they looked well made and comfortable. She said they fit well and were fairly supportive. Time will tell how they hold up but they appear to be of good quality.

They are a nice alternative to the name brand ones. The quality is nice i would suggest to size up one. They are true to size but no wiggle room. And the next size up just over all feels better if you have a wider foot.

Loved the sandal (Birkenstock look-a-like). I am glad I did read a lot of the reviews and sized up to a 9 and actually could have ordered a 9 1/2 for a little more length. I usually wear an 8-8 1/2 and they would definitely not have fit length wise. I am going to have a little break-in time as a got a rub-mark on my left instep. Maybe shouldn't have taken that long walk!!! Lol! Other than sizing, I love them! Great knock-off and great price of $16.99!

Cute footbed sandals, comfy and casual. The footbed bottom does look like cork and are thick and sturdy. The straps are not leather or suede but a thick yet flexible felt. So the quality is not a good as some of the other dupe footbed sandals. Not sure how long these will hold up, but they are soft and look just as nice. Easier to break in.

I always wear size 9.5- 10. The size 10 barely fits and my toes sometimes slide over the top. I would size up. Otherwise cute and comfy.

"I’m a true size 9 in everything and my feet do fit the length of these shoes. The problem is that the grooves/curves on the sole do not comfortably hold my feet making my toes kind of grip the front. You may not notice it at first but I have another pair of same style that are the same way so I knew what to look out for. Haven’t decided if I’ll order up a size, go with different knock off brand, or just pay the extra for Birkenstocks.
